There is not much information about Falid Maney after 1870. Due to the poor condition of the 1870 census, it is difficult to read the full name. It is uncertain if the correct transcription of the census is Falid Maney. Falid lived in the same household as Andrew and Henrietta Maney, and it is possible that she was enslaved by the Jones family.[i] Falid found work in Murfreesboro as a farm laborer immediately following the Civil War.[ii] It is uncertain what happened to Falid after 1870.
